David A. Maestas is a Partner at Cuddy & McCarthy joining the Firm in late 2018.  With 40 years of legal experience, he has developed a depth of expertise in successfully addressing institutional risk management issues of all kinds, employment litigation, human resource challenges, organized labor issues, and in-house corporate investigations.  David has effectively represented and advised clients before the EEOC, National Labor Relations Board, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, federal whistleblower forums, and state and federal district courts.  David is offering professional investigative and risk assessment services to businesses and institutions in Colorado, New Mexico and Washington. These services seek to identify, assess and remedy or reduce corporate/institutional risk in a timely and cost efficient manner.

David is a native of Santa Fe and has an undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico and a law degree from Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C.  He has a long career in private law practice, Office of the New Mexico Attorney General, U.S. Department of Energy, US West Communications, Inc., and Battelle Memorial Institute at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.  David is admitted to practice in New Mexico, Colorado and Washington.
