Carlos Padilla joined Cuddy & McCarthy in May 2018. His practice areas include civil litigation defense, real estate, financial institutions/banking, government/municipal, labor law/employee relations and domestic relations.
Carlos was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico and is a proud graduate of St. Michael’s High School. He graduated from New Mexico State University (NMSU) in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. After graduating from NMSU, he worked for Los Alamos National Bank (LANB) as a Law Clerk for three years prior to his acceptance into the University of New Mexico School of Law. During law school, Carlos was actively involved with the American Bar Association (Student Representative), American Constitution Society (Co-Chair), Trial Lawyers Association and the Mexican-American Law Students Association. Carlos was also a Law Clerk for several law firms in Albuquerque and for the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Mexico. Carlos earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of New Mexico School of Law in December 2017.
